Chalcot Crescent is a meandering street in the centre of Primrose Hill recently frequented by Paddington Bear. Set in a Conservation Area and Grade II Listed, the house plan gets wider towards the rear giving the opportunity for a small but unusual garden on two levels. The two-storey extension used glass to lightly touch the historic brickwork and as a device to visually mirror and enlarge the rear. The copper for the roof and walls was taken inside to form a larder.
