Whilst at Nagan Johnson, Haniyyah has gained extensive experience primarily in the residential sector spanning from private dwellings to larger housing and mixed-use developments. Previous projects have involved challenging constrained urban sites, heritage buildings, and Green Belt sites from concept design stage right through to completion.
During her studies at the University of Nottingham, Haniyyah participated in Project Limpopo, designing, raising funds, and building a nursery in rural South Africa, and later completing a thesis researching mixed-use typologies in the context of modern Berlin. She has previously spent time at Watkins Gray International and Maccreanor Lavington Architects prior to joining Nagan Johnson Architects in 2012.
